Clarinet Studio
at SUNY Fredonia
The Fredonia Clarinet Studio provides students with the opportunity to grow throughout varying fields. Our studio is comprised of students studying music education, music performance, music therapy, music composition, sound recording technology, and applied music. On a weekly basis each student receives instruction and attends Recital Seminar class, providing both performance and teaching experience. Students also participate in blind placement auditions at the start if each semester and will complete at least four hours per week of large ensemble rehearsal with two performances per semester. Many other performance opportunities are available including Clarinet Ensemble and student run chamber groups. Students also frequently pair musical studies with other educational areas, including music industry and arts administration.
